Colombarone FC's Fabrizio Renzetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Moscatelli in the 12th minute of play. Emilio Betti hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Ferdinando Mascitti in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Ferdinando Mascitti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edmondo Di Giandomenico came out and tried to block the shot, but Ferdinando Mascitti slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, Ferdinando Mascitti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ermanno Moscatelli to strike the kick off in the second half. Edmondo Di Giandomenico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Massimini in the 51st minute of play. Fabrizio Renzetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beppe Longo in the 54th minute of play. Colombarone FC's Fabrizio Renzetti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Colombarone FC from getting a goal against them. LUPI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombarone FC the free kick. In the 63rd minute, Ermanno Moscatelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Colombarone FC were victorious despite being under pressure from LUPI for much of the match.
