But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Abeijon couldn't finish the play. Riccardo & Erika's Damiano Marsili proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Riccardo & Erika from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Aquilino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amerigo Meazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Riccardo & Erika's Amerigo Meazza in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mariana calcio's goalie prevented a goal. 12 minutes into the game, Mariana calcio's Cornell Oliver nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damiano Marsili made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Damiano Marsili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hudson Quadros in the 16th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Damiano Marsili successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 21 minutes into the match, Riccardo & Erika's goal looked a bit too open when Hudson Quadros came free, but Damiano Marsili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Andrea Orecchioni notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mariana calcio's Alfonso Aquilino. Alfonso Aquilino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 24 played minutes Riccardo & Erika got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Orecchioni. A hard shot 25 in the game by Cornell Oliver from a close distance when the talented Damiano Marsili managed to make a qualified save. Riccardo & Erika's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amerigo Meazza in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Aquilino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd match minute, Riccardo & Erika was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferruccio Massimi to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Mariana calcio's Anders Bork tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alfonso Aquilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Oddi in the 46th minute of play. Damiano Marsili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Cunha in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amerigo Meazza made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Camilo Duque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damiano Marsili was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Benedicto Abeijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Damiano Marsili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Riccardo & Erika's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Abeijon came free, but Damiano Marsili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Riccardo & Erika's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Duque came free, but Damiano Marsili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute of the match Mariana calcio got a corner. Riccardo & Erika's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anders Bork ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 67th minute, Benedicto Abeijon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mariana calcio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Abeijon in the 70th minute of play forced Riccardo & Erika's goalkeeper Damiano Marsili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariana calcio's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anders Bork in the 72nd minute. 76 minutes into the match, Riccardo & Erika's goal looked a bit too open when Cornell Oliver came free, but Damiano Marsili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Mariana calcio's goalkeeper Alfonso Aquilino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amerigo Meazza. Amerigo Meazza kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 79thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Mariana calcio's keeper Alfonso Aquilino was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Damiano Marsili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Abeijon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Jacinto Nesor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Riccardo & Erika's Damiano Marsili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Duque in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Riccardo & Erika's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Abeijon came free, but Damiano Marsili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damiano Marsili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hudson Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Gutxi Ortuño kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Riccardo & Erika was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonello Walcher to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Benedicto Abeijon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Marsili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariana calcio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
