Spectators: 7984 (Terracing: 5989, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cesare Padula kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the match, Vercelli FC's Enzo Azzolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felice Giansante narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Felice Finocchio fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trivella AFC's protests and gave Felice Finocchio a yellow card for diving instead. Enzo Azzolina took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Felice Giansante. Trivella AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 7 minutes of play, Vercelli FC's Carter Busillo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felice Giansante was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the match, Fedele Di Lorenzo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Trivella AFC's Felice Giansante. Felice Giansante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Trivella AFC defense, Fedele Di Lorenzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felice Giansante. The Trivella AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felice Giansante should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Vercelli FC booed when Trivella AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Trivella AFC defense, Fedele Di Lorenzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felice Giansante. The Trivella AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felice Giansante should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Fedele Di Lorenzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felice Giansante was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Vercelli FC's Tommi Lundell got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 minutes of play, Vercelli FC's Fedele Di Lorenzo made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felice Giansante was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute, Tommi Lundell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vercelli FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Felice Giansante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carter Busillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Tommi Lundell scored 0-9 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felice Giansante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-9 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tommi Lundell to strike the kick off in the second half. Vercelli FC's Marco van Bommel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Vitelli in the 56th minute of play. Felice Giansante came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Vercelli FC's Tommi Lundell. But to his dismay, Tommi Lundell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Trivella AFC's Felice Giansante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Trivella AFC from getting a goal against them. Felice Giansante made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Enzo Azzolina sent off a good shot on target. After 66 played minutes Trivella AFC got a freekick which was hit by Felice Finocchio. After 76 minutes, Tommi Lundell made it 0-12 with a short kick to the right side. Trivella AFC's Felice Giansante tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fedele Di Lorenzo took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felice Giansante. Felice Giansante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. After 83 played minutes Trivella AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Vitelli. Vercelli FC's Fedele Di Lorenzo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enzo Azzolina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Felice Giansante came out and tried to block the shot, but Enzo Azzolina slotted it home off the left post making it 0-14 in the 86th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Tommi Lundell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felice Giansante. That made the score 0-15 in the 89 minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Enzo Azzolina dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felice Giansante, 0-16. Vercelli FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
