The Herberia Herons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Filippo Sessa was a little too slow when Aldo Tocchetto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 4-0. Cristoforo De Tommasi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filippo Sessa came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristoforo De Tommasi slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Eugenio Ruggieri took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Filippo Sessa to make any attempt to save it. In the 26th minute, Arturo Bergomi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Filippo Sessa. The goal made the score 7-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Giuseppe Basso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herberia Herons's supporters rose to their feet, but Giuseppe Basso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filippo Sessa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filippo Sessa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aldo Tocchetto went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Aldo Tocchetto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After 45 played minutes, Herberia Herons's Eugenio Gallo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filippo Sessa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Herberia Herons reached it. 46 minutes into the match, A.S. MANFREDONIA's goalkeeper Filippo Sessa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giuseppe Basso. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.S. MANFREDONIA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eugenio Gallo was slow to take the kick. During this time Herberia Herons's players had a chance to rest. Eugenio Gallo made a great header on Herberia Herons's corner, it was just that A.S. MANFREDONIA's Filippo Sessa managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 10-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldo Tocchetto to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Arturo Bergomi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Filippo Sessa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filippo Sessa came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Herberia Herons's Cristoforo De Tommasi. But to his dismay, Cristoforo De Tommasi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. In the 64th minute, Cristoforo De Tommasi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filippo Sessa was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Filippo Sessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Basso in the 71st minute of play. A.S. MANFREDONIA's Filippo Sessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Tocchetto in the 72nd minute of play. Emiliano Stragapede charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiliano Stragapede the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emiliano Stragapede kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Filippo Sessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo De Tommasi in the 75th minute of play. A.S. MANFREDONIA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aldo Tocchetto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 17-0. 95 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Basso notched a goal, 18-0, to the right of A.S. MANFREDONIA's Filippo Sessa. Filippo Sessa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Herberia Herons's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
