After a defensive mix-up in Bassa Valle FC's zone, Eraldo Micarelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Mazzocco came out of the goal and Eraldo Micarelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the game, Frank Paganelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bassa Valle FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dinamoblu the free kick. After 19 played minutes Bassa Valle FC got a freekick which was hit by Frank Paganelli. Frank Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Forrest in the 25th minute of play. Gordon Forrest sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute Cosimo Minati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Mazzocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Bassa Valle FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Lio. When Eraldo Micarelli came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Dinamoblu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eraldo Micarelli couldn't finish the play. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dinamoblu! The goalkeeper, Frank Costa, was totally fooled by Bassa Valle FC's Gordon Forrest, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Frank Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Forrest in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adriano Pallini made a kick off. Dario Sciarretta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Eugenio Mazzocco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd match minute, Dinamoblu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Sangermano to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosimo Minati got free with Eugenio Mazzocco in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eugenio Mazzocco made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Cosimo Minati sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute Dinamoblu were awarded a corner. Alberigo Pellecchia went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Dinamoblu's Alberigo Pellecchia to fire away a dangerous shot which Eugenio Mazzocco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Adriano Pallini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Costa having to interfere. A collision led to Dinamoblu getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Dave Cerrone hit a great ball. Camillo Prisco hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Bassa Valle FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
