The crowd rose to their feet as White Revenants's Domenico Sacchetti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tadeo Vazquez. That made the score 1-2 after 14 minutes of play. In the 16th minute, Rodrigo Daudet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosimo Sasso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 24th minute Felice Della Francesca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosimo Sasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Daudet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cosimo Sasso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Cosimo Sasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Trotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Cosimo Sasso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrico Trotta went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Camillo Casadei's late challenge caught a White Revenants's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camillo Casadei helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Weltevedren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camillo Casadei to maneuver through the defense. Camillo Ramoser fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 39th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Mieszko Piszczor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cosimo Sasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Daudet, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Armin Caneva made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Weltevedren's Flavio Aversa.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Daudet made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Enrico Trotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosimo Sasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mieszko Piszczor made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 53rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Cosimo Sasso would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 54 minutes into the match, Mieszko Piszczor notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of White Revenants's Cosimo Sasso. Cosimo Sasso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Sacchetti in the 59th minute of play forced Weltevedren's goalkeeper Tadeo Vazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rodrigo Daudet, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 64 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cosimo Sasso was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Domenico Sacchetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. White Revenants's Cosimo Sasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save White Revenants from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Daudet dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cosimo Sasso, 1-6. After some careless play in the White Revenants defense, Enrico Trotta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosimo Sasso. The White Revenants fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosimo Sasso should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Weltevedren's zone, Domenico Sacchetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Vazquez came out of the goal and Domenico Sacchetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute of the game, Armin Caneva landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Aurelio Giolo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Bernardo Maiorano's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Tadeo Vazquez on his right side and into the goal. 86 minutes into the game it was 2-7. Cristoforo Marini's late challenge caught a Weltevedren's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristoforo Marini helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes White Revenants got a freekick which was hit by Cristoforo Marini. Rodrigo Daudet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Weltevedren's zone, Dario Ansoldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Vazquez came out of the goal and Dario Ansoldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Weltevedren supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Weltevedren would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
