Frank Galli started the match with the kick off. Academy Sava's Carlo Mingione proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Academy Sava from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Galli in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlo Mingione prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anfilogino Di Massimo's late challenge caught a Trento Calcio 1921's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anfilogino Di Massimo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Academy Sava getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Anfilogino Di Massimo hit a great ball. If Frank Galli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Mingione took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rik Hello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlo Mingione stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Galli's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Frank Galli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlo Mingione. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Frank Galli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academy Sava's Carlo Mingione was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Frank Galli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Mingione saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Academy Sava's Carlo Mingione played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Galli in the 27th minute of play. Trento Calcio 1921's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ralf Aasma in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Frank Galli fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Carlo Mingione, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Galli in the 31st minute of play forced Academy Sava's goalkeeper Carlo Mingione to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Antico hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, Frank Galli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Carlo Mingione was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Rik Hello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Rik Hello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Mingione having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Academy Sava's zone, Frank Galli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlo Mingione came out of the goal and Frank Galli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Frank Galli notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Academy Sava's Carlo Mingione. Carlo Mingione was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Academy Sava's goalkeeper Carlo Mingione, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Trento Calcio 1921's zone, Carter Piscopo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mutlu Baykam came out of the goal and Carter Piscopo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Åke Abrahamsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Academy Sava booed when Trento Calcio 1921 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Galli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 minutes, Frank Galli made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Academy Sava's Carlo Mingione tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rik Hello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Carlo Mingione tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 minutes of play, Trento Calcio 1921's Frank Galli made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlo Mingione was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frank Galli took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlo Mingione. Carlo Mingione dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. After having played for 95 minutes, Rik Hello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trento Calcio 1921's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rik Hello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trento Calcio 1921's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
