With a little luck, Il Reverendo Team's Anfilogino Cirone got control of the ball when Biagio Chioda tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Carmine Saturno notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Il Reverendo Team's Anfilogino Cirone. Anfilogino Cirone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Il Reverendo Team's Anfilogino Cirone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Il Reverendo Team from getting a goal against them. Biagio Chioda scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anfilogino Cirone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anfilogino Cirone made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Biagio Chioda sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st match minute, Il Reverendo Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Alba to maneuver through the defense. Anfilogino Cirone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Padula in the 32nd minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Francesco Melfi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rombiolo BR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francesco Melfi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Il Reverendo Team's goalkeeper Anfilogino Cirone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anfilogino Cirone made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Biagio Chioda sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filippo Losito was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Enzo Ruggieri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Rombiolo BR's Alberigo Dorigatti tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Filippo Losito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Emilio Grassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Grassi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filippo Losito in the 60th minute. In the 70th minute, Aldo Padula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anfilogino Cirone was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Enzo Ruggieri hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Alberigo Dorigatti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anfilogino Cirone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. When Rombiolo BR's Aldo Padula in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Il Reverendo Team's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Aldo Padula put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Anfilogino Cirone. Anfilogino Cirone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Chioda in the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Aldo Padula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anfilogino Cirone was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After a rather tough play, Il Reverendo Team's Fulvio Salomone got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Biagio Chioda came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Rombiolo BR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Biagio Chioda couldn't finish the play. Emilio Grassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Antonelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Flavio Antonelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Grassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rombiolo BR walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
