The crowd rose to their feet as Bruno Piccone kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bogumil Wieloch. That made the score 0-5 in the 86 minute of play. Roberto baggi's Bruno Piccone got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roberto baggi played a much better game than U.C. Sampdoria and deserved their victory. The U.C. Sampdoria players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
