Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) U.C. Sampdoria's Cristiano Piretti started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bogumil Wieloch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Miccio, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Ettore Feliziani kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Bernardo Vittorio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bogumil Wieloch to make any attempt to save it. In the 13th minute, Deniz Weissmuller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ginnastica Mentale fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. U.C. Sampdoria's Bogumil Wieloch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Di Leonardo in the 16th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Deniz Weissmuller got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Ercole Di Mario fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U.C. Sampdoria's protests and gave Ercole Di Mario a yellow card for diving instead. Ercole Di Mario kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Franco Di Leonardo made a precise shot to the right of Bogumil Wieloch. U.C. Sampdoria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Bogumil Wieloch stood somewhat misplaced when Deniz Weissmuller came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 36 minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ginnastica Mentale's Franco Di Leonardo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bogumil Wieloch. That made the score 5-0 after 40 minutes of play. U.C. Sampdoria's Bogumil Wieloch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Bosso in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Deniz Weissmuller made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Deniz Weissmuller made a precise shot to the right of Bogumil Wieloch. U.C. Sampdoria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Bogumil Wieloch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Deniz Weissmuller went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deniz Weissmuller in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogumil Wieloch saved U.C. Sampdoria from getting behind. Bogumil Wieloch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Bottone in the 65th minute of play. Bogumil Wieloch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deniz Weissmuller in the 66th minute of the match. After 70 minutes of play, Ginnastica Mentale's Deniz Weissmuller made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bogumil Wieloch was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, Edmondo Miccio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the game, Cristoforo Bottone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Bogumil Wieloch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 81st minute, Deniz Weissmuller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ginnastica Mentale fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. 85 minutes into the match, U.C. Sampdoria's goal looked a bit too open when Deniz Weissmuller came free, but Bogumil Wieloch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Cristoforo Bottone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogumil Wieloch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogumil Wieloch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Bottone in the 87th minute of play. Ermanno Fabri scored 11-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bogumil Wieloch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Ginnastica Mentale players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
