After a rather tough play, Castellazzo's Fabio Genovese got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Antonello Tarquini kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The corner led Castellazzo's Armin Tedeschi to fire away a dangerous shot which Paulo Renato Sousa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Concetto Tolin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Castellazzo's Cesare Mozzoni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Castellazzo from getting a goal against them. Paulo Renato Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attilio Mammarella in the 21st minute of the match. Diego Pollastrini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th minute, Camillo Di Luzio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Castellazzo's Cesare Mozzoni got control of the ball when Donato Piscitelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Davide Petricca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Renato Sousa having to make a save. Diego Pollastrini might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Renato Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Pollastrini ran back to his position shaking his head. Castellazzo's Davide Petricca managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Donato Piscitelli in the 36 minute of the game. When Davide Petricca came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Castellazzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davide Petricca couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camillo Di Luzio was the one to do the kick off. If Davide Petricca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Pollastrini got free with Paulo Renato Sousa in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cesare Mozzoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Di Luzio in the 63rd minute of play. Davide Petricca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Sportiva Parma's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Pollastrini. After a defensive mix-up in Sportiva Parma's zone, Attilio Mammarella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Renato Sousa came out of the goal and Attilio Mammarella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sportiva Parma's Paulo Renato Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Sportiva Parma from getting a goal against them. Paulo Renato Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Mammarella in the 81st minute of play. In the 89th minute, Camillo Di Luzio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesare Mozzoni was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Diego Pollastrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Paulo Renato Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Pollastrini hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
