An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Sandalio in the 5th minute of play forced ASD Arilica Peschiera's goalkeeper Alberto Savoia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Savoia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amos Atroce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in ASD Arilica Peschiera's zone, Er Didia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Savoia came out of the goal and Er Didia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Er Didia in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Savoia saved ASD Arilica Peschiera from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Fedele Marzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Atletico San Jacopino's Er Didia in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. One of ASD Arilica Peschiera:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atletico San Jacopino:s goal. Alberto Savoia had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Er Didia's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Er Didia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Savoia. ASD Arilica Peschiera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Er Didia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Amos Atroce sped through ASD Arilica Peschiera's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alberto Savoia. After having played for 34 minutes, Fedele Marzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico San Jacopino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fedele Marzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Amos Atroce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Atletico San Jacopino getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Fernando Mesquita hit a great ball. After the first half Atletico San Jacopino were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carl Wikander to strike the kick off in the second half. Atletico San Jacopino played a much better game than ASD Arilica Peschiera and deserved their victory. The ASD Arilica Peschiera players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
