Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Fabrizi started the match with the kick off. Beppe Liaci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Vespucci in the 7th minute of play. After 11th play minutes Alberto Trombetta shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Beppe Liaci and just under the crossbar into goal. 14 minutes into the match, Vespolate's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Trombetta came free, but Beppe Liaci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Diego Torelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beppe Liaci. Vespolate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Torelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some careless play in the Vespolate defense, Christian Gazza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beppe Liaci. The Vespolate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beppe Liaci should have stopped the shot. When garbatella's Alberto Trombetta in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vespolate's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th minute, Alfredo De Marchi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alessio Di Paolo. The goal made the score 1-4. With a little luck, garbatella's Alessio Di Paolo got control of the ball when Edmondo Domenghini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beppe Liaci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Trombetta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Vespolate players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. garbatella were winning 1-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Trombetta made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Alfredo De Marchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dennis Ferrini kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Beppe Liaci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Trombetta in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match, Christian Gazza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Beppe Liaci saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Vespolate getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Frank Fabrizi hit a great ball. Ferdinando Di Giulio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Liaci having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Vespolate's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Gazza came free, but Beppe Liaci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Alberto Trombetta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Beppe Liaci. The goal made the score 1-9. A collision led to garbatella getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Anfilogino Lucchetta hit a great ball. Beppe Liaci was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diego Torelli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-10 in the 94 minute of play. When the match was over garbatella could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vespolate throughout the match.
