In the 11thth minute of the game Biagio Cimino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Rieti's Hans Stenqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 minutes of play, Saucho's Biagio Cimino made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hans Stenqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute Biagio Cimino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Stenqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alberto Villani came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Saucho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Villani couldn't finish the play. When Saucho's Biagio Cimino in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Biagio Cimino in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Stenqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Bellomo got free with Hans Stenqvist in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Biagio Cimino to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Rieti's goalkeeper Hans Stenqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Biagio Cimino put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hans Stenqvist. Biagio Cimino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Iwo Zdanowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Biagio Cimino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Rieti's Hans Stenqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Rieti's zone, Alberto Villani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Stenqvist came out of the goal and Alberto Villani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Biagio Cimino sped through FC Rieti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hans Stenqvist. Biagio Cimino struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Hans Stenqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saucho. After 83 minutes of play, Saucho's Bruno Bellomo made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hans Stenqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the match, Saucho's Alberto Villani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hans Stenqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Saucho's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alberto Villani in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Saucho's Biagio Cimino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hans Stenqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. After having played for 96 minutes, Dragan Izetbegović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saucho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dragan Izetbegović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Saucho were the better team. Saucho's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
