Spectators: 8010 (Terracing: 6009, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 159) Diego Torelli started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in FC Rieti's zone, Ettore Vespucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Stenqvist came out of the goal and Ettore Vespucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of garbatella booed when FC Rieti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Rieti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Ferdinando Di Giulio scored to the left of an out of position Hans Stenqvist, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, garbatella's Alberto Trombetta got a free kick in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Ettore Vespucci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hans Stenqvist. FC Rieti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ettore Vespucci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Torelli in the 14th minute of play forced FC Rieti's goalkeeper Hans Stenqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Torelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Hans Stenqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Torelli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hans Stenqvist having to make a save. In the 20th minute, Ettore Vespucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Trombetta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filippo Barresi during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Filippo Barresi kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Alberto Trombetta did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Hans Stenqvist 29 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes, Fausto Giancola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Rieti and the garbatella players grew even worse after the yellow card. 33 minutes into the match, FC Rieti's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Torelli came free, but Hans Stenqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, FC Rieti's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ettore Vespucci fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alberigo Della Torre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hans Stenqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Diego Torelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ettore Vespucci had several of the FC Rieti's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 44 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Hans Stenqvist as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of garbatella booed when FC Rieti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Giancola didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fausto Giancola made a kick off. Diego Torelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hans Stenqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Torelli ran back to his position shaking his head. Hans Stenqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Torelli in the 59th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Diego Torelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hans Stenqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 62 minutes into the match, FC Rieti's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Della Torre came free, but Hans Stenqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute garbatella were awarded a corner. Ferdinando Di Giulio went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Torelli in the 66th minute of play forced FC Rieti's goalkeeper Hans Stenqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ettore Vespucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ettore Vespucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Stenqvist having to interfere. Hans Stenqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Torelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When Alberigo Della Torre came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the garbatella fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberigo Della Torre couldn't finish the play. Hans Stenqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Torelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the game, garbatella's Diego Torelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hans Stenqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Diego Torelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Ettore Vespucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hans Stenqvist didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when garbatella's Diego Torelli shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 10-0 in the ordered_time% minute.
