Eugenio Dionisi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Biagio Cimino went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eugenio Dionisi came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Saucho's Biagio Cimino. But to his dismay, Biagio Cimino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Eugenio Dionisi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Villani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Guantai's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Villani came free, but Eugenio Dionisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes in the game Kryspin Zdanowicz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dragan Izetbegović. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Biagio Maestri during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Guantai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biagio Maestri to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guantai's goalkeeper Eugenio Dionisi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the game, Biagio Cimino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eugenio Dionisi. Biagio Cimino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 71 minutes into the game, Attilio Fabrizi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Saucho's Arturo Bozzelli quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 73rd minute Flavio Zacchia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amedeo Testi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guantai were furious when Biagio Maestri was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biagio Cimino in the 86th minute of play forced Guantai's goalkeeper Eugenio Dionisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Guantai booed when Saucho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Santalucia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guantai's Eugenio Dionisi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Guantai from getting a goal against them.
