Spectators: 7948 (Terracing: 5962, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fausto Giancola started the match with the kick off. In the 10thth minute of the game Ettore Vespucci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Rieti's Hans Stenqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Diego Torelli notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Rieti's Hans Stenqvist. Hans Stenqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diego Torelli succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Diego Torelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Stenqvist having to interfere. Diego Torelli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hans Stenqvist having to make a save. Ettore Vespucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Stenqvist having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, garbatella's Ettore Vespucci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hans Stenqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 31 minutes into the match, Ettore Vespucci notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of FC Rieti's Hans Stenqvist. Hans Stenqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the match, Ettore Vespucci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hans Stenqvist. FC Rieti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ettore Vespucci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Hans Stenqvist came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by garbatella's Christian Gazza. But to his dismay, Christian Gazza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Diego Torelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. garbatella's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Torelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Stenqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in FC Rieti's zone, Ettore Vespucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Stenqvist came out of the goal and Ettore Vespucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 42nd play minutes Diego Torelli shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Hans Stenqvist and just under the crossbar into goal. Ettore Vespucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC Rieti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. garbatella were winning 0-8.

The wind increased when Diego Torelli made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, garbatella's Diego Torelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hans Stenqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. After a rather tough play, FC Rieti's Iwo Zdanowicz got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferdinando Di Giulio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hans Stenqvist. That made the score 0-10 in the 54 minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, FC Rieti's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Trombetta came free, but Hans Stenqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Armando Facchetti heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 59 minutes into the match, FC Rieti's goalkeeper Hans Stenqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Trombetta. In the 60th minute Armando Facchetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Stenqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, garbatella's Ettore Vespucci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hans Stenqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. 67 minutes in the game, Diego Torelli fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hans Stenqvist having to interfere. FC Rieti's Hans Stenqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save FC Rieti from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the match, Christian Gazza notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of FC Rieti's Hans Stenqvist. Hans Stenqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 79th minute, Ettore Vespucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ettore Vespucci came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the garbatella fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Vespucci couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Ettore Vespucci made a precise shot to the right of Hans Stenqvist. FC Rieti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. After a rather tough play, garbatella's Ferdinando Di Giulio got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Ettore Vespucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded garbatella left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Rieti.
