Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Fabrizi in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fedele Savini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 48th minute, Andrea Ciarrocchi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vespolate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amedeo Palone was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona Viper's zone, Frank Fabrizi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fedele Savini came out of the goal and Frank Fabrizi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vespolate's Beppe Liaci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Zuccarini in the 55th minute of play. Barcelona Viper's Fedele Savini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Barcelona Viper from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Fabrizi in the 59th minute of play forced Barcelona Viper's goalkeeper Fedele Savini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Vespolate's Fedele Savini threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Frank Fabrizi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Amedeo Palone kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Cosimo Iachini notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Vespolate's Beppe Liaci. Beppe Liaci was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Fabrizi in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fedele Savini saved Barcelona Viper from getting behind. After 82 played minutes, Barcelona Viper's Elia Bellisario shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beppe Liaci came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barcelona Viper reached it. Beppe Liaci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Zuccarini in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Armin Zuccarini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Liaci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Frank Fabrizi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Barcelona Viper's Fedele Savini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Barcelona Viper from getting a goal against them. Frank Fabrizi took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fedele Savini. Fedele Savini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3.
