The Barcelona Viper fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fedele Savini should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Barcelona Viper's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Villani came free, but Fedele Savini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Biagio Cimino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fedele Savini was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Biagio Cimino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Fedele Savini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fedele Savini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Fedele Savini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Villani went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. The supporters of Saucho booed when Barcelona Viper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Mandara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute of the match Alberto Villani shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fedele Savini showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Barcelona Viper's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Cimino came free, but Fedele Savini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Saucho were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amedeo Palone made a kick off. Fedele Savini made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Biagio Cimino sent off a good shot on target. 55 minutes into the match, Barcelona Viper's goalkeeper Fedele Savini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dragan Izetbegović. Alberto Villani might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fedele Savini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Villani ran back to his position shaking his head. Saucho's Bruno Bellomo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 97th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Saucho played a much better game than Barcelona Viper and deserved their victory. The Barcelona Viper players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
