But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Concetto Lo Iacono couldn't finish the play. After 19 played minutes Guantai got a freekick which was hit by Florian Guerrieri. Alexander Formaggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Zacchia in the 24th minute of play. Frattocchie's Alexander Formaggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Zacchia in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Flavio Zacchia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Formaggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frattocchie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guantai the free kick. Jarle Granmo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Frattocchie:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guantai:s goal. Alberigo Muciaccia shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Frattocchie fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guantai had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
