After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Guantai's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Tammaro came free, but Eugenio Dionisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guantai were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Caledonia Invicta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alberigo Muciaccia took the corner. Guantai's Alberigo Muciaccia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gabino Valcarcel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Eugenio Dionisi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Tammaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Dionisi came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Caledonia Invicta's Fabrizio Oroni. But to his dismay, Fabrizio Oroni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Eugenio Dionisi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Tammaro in the 82nd minute. After 84 played minutes Caledonia Invicta got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Valcareggi. Federico Di Maio charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Di Maio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Federico Di Maio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Tammaro got free with Eugenio Dionisi in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caledonia Invicta's Gabino Valcarcel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Zacchia in the 94th minute of play. Caledonia Invicta played a much better game than Guantai and deserved their victory. The Guantai players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
