Spectators: 7997 (Terracing: 5999, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 159) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cesare Polmone made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, San Nicolò Kings's Nedo Nadi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demetrio Giovannelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Davide Bertolini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7th minute, Geo AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Davide Bertolini fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nedo Nadi might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demetrio Giovannelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nedo Nadi ran back to his position shaking his head. Demetrio Giovannelli was a little too slow when Nedo Nadi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 2-0. After having played for 16 minutes, Nedo Nadi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Nicolò Kings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nedo Nadi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Demetrio Giovannelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Bertolini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Geo AFC's zone, Nedo Nadi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demetrio Giovannelli came out of the goal and Nedo Nadi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. San Nicolò Kings's Davide Bertolini got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Geo AFC's zone, Corrado Trevisani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demetrio Giovannelli came out of the goal and Corrado Trevisani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nedo Nadi got free with Demetrio Giovannelli in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Demetrio Giovannelli made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Nedo Nadi sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Nedo Nadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Nicolò Kings's supporters rose to their feet, but Nedo Nadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demetrio Giovannelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute Davide Bertolini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Giovannelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Geo AFC's Andrea Cerasoli seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Andrea Cerasoli the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Geo AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Andrea Cerasoli had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Geo AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Demetrio Giovannelli, was totally fooled by San Nicolò Kings's Damiano Silvagni, who 48 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Davide Bertolini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nedo Nadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Demetrio Giovannelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nedo Nadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Giovannelli having to interfere. Demetrio Giovannelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corrado Trevisani in the 58th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match San Nicolò Kings got a corner. Geo AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Damiano Silvagni ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Nedo Nadi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Nedo Nadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nedo Nadi in the 68th minute of play forced Geo AFC's goalkeeper Demetrio Giovannelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Tagliente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nedo Nadi in the 70th minute of play forced Geo AFC's goalkeeper Demetrio Giovannelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Nicolò Kings were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Geo AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Damiano Silvagni took the corner. Davide Bertolini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Demetrio Giovannelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Nedo Nadi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demetrio Giovannelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Davide Bertolini sped through Geo AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Demetrio Giovannelli. San Nicolò Kings's April Kul was substituted for Davide Bertolini. In the 85th minute Nedo Nadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Giovannelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that April Kul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Demetrio Giovannelli was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, April Kul notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Geo AFC's Demetrio Giovannelli. Demetrio Giovannelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Franco Catucci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmondo Toccaceli in the 96th minute. 100 minutes into the match, Geo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Trevisani came free, but Demetrio Giovannelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Nicolò Kings walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
