The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot 6 in the game by Dino Imperiale from a close distance when the talented Comunardo Romano managed to make a qualified save. Baranzate's players were relieved. 7 minutes into the match, Baranzate's goalkeeper Comunardo Romano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dino Imperiale. Comunardo Romano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Fabrizi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Armando Fabrizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Romano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Fabrizi in the 18th minute of play forced Baranzate's goalkeeper Comunardo Romano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baranzate's Comunardo Romano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Baranzate from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd match minute, Puciu F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Cala to maneuver through the defense. Antonello Malinconico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Proia having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dino Imperiale got free with Comunardo Romano in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 27 played minutes Baranzate got a freekick which was hit by Amedeo Talone. When Armando Benarrivo fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baranzate's protests and gave Armando Benarrivo a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Baranzate got a freekick which was hit by Armando Benarrivo. The supporters of Puciu F.C. booed when Baranzate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amedeo Talone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Comunardo Romano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Emanuele Ferraresi. In the 37th minute, Amedeo Talone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Baranzate's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Fabrizi came free, but Comunardo Romano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ercole Bassani kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Baranzate's zone, Ettore Gigli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Comunardo Romano came out of the goal and Ettore Gigli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

60 minutes into the match, Baranzate's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Fabrizi came free, but Comunardo Romano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Baranzate's Amedeo Talone got a free kick in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Puciu F.C.'s goalkeeper Corrado Proia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fortunato Lavatrice. Baranzate's Comunardo Romano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Imperiale in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute Armando Fabrizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Romano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fortunato Lavatrice recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Baranzate's goal looked a bit too open when Carter Costacurta came free, but Comunardo Romano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Comunardo Romano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carter Costacurta, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Baranzate's Armando Benarrivo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amedeo Cala in the 85 minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Puciu F.C. fully deserved thier win.
