Spectators: 8036 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 162) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alberto Mingione took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute Ettore Alessandrini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Sebzda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match Fortitudo got a corner. Alessandria AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silviu Drăgănoiu ran over to the corner to take the kick. 14 minutes into the match, Fortitudo's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Piccone came free, but Carter Vitale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Gervasi during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alberto Gervasi hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Carter Vitale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Lovera in the 18th minute of play. Giovanni Lovera scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carter Vitale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Ettore Alessandrini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fortitudo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ettore Alessandrini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ziemowit Sebzda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the match, Fortitudo's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Malandrovsky came free, but Carter Vitale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carter Vitale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Malandrovsky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Alberto Mingione got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Cordone in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ziemowit Sebzda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Fortitudo getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Eugenio Ramundo hit a great ball. A collision led to Alessandria AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Emanuele Stella hit a great ball. Silviu Drăgănoiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ziemowit Sebzda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silviu Drăgănoiu ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giovanni Lovera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Eugenio Ramundo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fortitudo and the Alessandria AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Alessandria AFC's Ennio Piccone slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carter Vitale. That made the score 0-2 after 56 minutes of play. Alessandria AFC's Ziemowit Sebzda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Orioli in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, Fortitudo's Carter Vitale got control of the ball when Ennio Piccone tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Alex Cordone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ennio Piccone received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carter Vitale came out and tried to block the shot, but Ennio Piccone slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Lovera in the 70th minute of play forced Fortitudo's goalkeeper Carter Vitale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldinho Malandrovsky could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Carter Vitale made a huge save. Carter Vitale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Lovera in the 75th minute of the match. Carter Vitale came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Alessandria AFC's Giovanni Lovera. But to his dismay, Giovanni Lovera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 79 minutes into the match, Fortitudo's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Piccone came free, but Carter Vitale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes Fortitudo got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Drăgănoiu. Alberto Mingione struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Ziemowit Sebzda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fortitudo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldinho Malandrovsky got free with Carter Vitale in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fortitudo's Carter Vitale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Roberto in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Alessandria AFC's Ennio Piccone got a free kick in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Alessandria AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Mingione came free, but Ziemowit Sebzda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes Alessandria AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Piccone. After 94 played minutes Fortitudo got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Ramundo. After recieving a nice pass, Alessandria AFC's Bruno Roberto tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Mingione in the 96th minute of play forced Alessandria AFC's goalkeeper Ziemowit Sebzda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandria AFC played a much better game than Fortitudo and deserved their victory. The Fortitudo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
