When the match had gone on for 2 minutes, Alberto Mingione took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fabrizio Nobile to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, AC Milan's Fabrizio Nobile got control of the ball when Alberto Mingione tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Milan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Silviu Drăgănoiu was slow to take the kick. During this time Fortitudo's players had a chance to rest. With his leg Fabrizio Nobile managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Fortitudo's Alberto Mingione fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 17th minute, Fortitudo's Alex Cordone ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabrizio Nobile. Fabrizio Nobile yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After 22 minutes of play, Fortitudo's Alberto Mingione made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabrizio Nobile was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alex Cordone scored 5-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabrizio Nobile, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Alessandrini came free, but Fabrizio Nobile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Anfilogino Petruzzi hit a great ball. Fabrizio Nobile stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Mingione's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. When Alex Cordone came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Fortitudo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Cordone couldn't finish the play. Ettore Alessandrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Fabrizio Nobile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Alberto Mingione dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabrizio Nobile, 6-0. Fabrizio Nobile stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ettore Alessandrini's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Alberto Mingione succeeded in the game's 46th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Mingione to make the kick off. Fabrizio Nobile didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Cordone went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 54th minute, Alvise Caneva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match Silviu Drăgănoiu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabrizio Nobile showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alex Cordone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Alex Cordone notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of AC Milan's Fabrizio Nobile. Fabrizio Nobile was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Alex Cordone put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabrizio Nobile. Fabrizio Nobile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniele Orioli in the 68th minute of the match. Ettore Alessandrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Fabrizio Nobile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Ettore Alessandrini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Nobile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Alberto Mingione cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Fabrizio Nobile was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alex Cordone took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabrizio Nobile. Fabrizio Nobile dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. Fabrizio Nobile came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Fortitudo's Alberto Mingione. But to his dismay, Alberto Mingione quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. The audience was convinced that Alex Cordone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrizio Nobile was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Fortitudo were the better team. Fortitudo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
