Real Aquino's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raúl Penha in the 23rd minute. Ercole Serantoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Parente in the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Reggina Calcio's Alessio Bravo got a free kick in the 27th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Domenico Santarelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ercole Serantoni made a huge save. Ercole Serantoni was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Domenico Santarelli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Domenico Santarelli really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Diego Kimetz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Reggina Calcio's Attilio Lenci shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-3 in the ordered_time% minute. A nice corner shot did that Raúl Penha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ercole Serantoni quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Real Aquino eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
