The crowd rose to their feet as Jelle Dierickx kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cesare Tagliente. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabrizio Cesareo during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Mira FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Cesareo. In the 20th match minute, Mira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrizio Cesareo to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Jelle Dierickx sped through Mira FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cesare Tagliente. After a rather tough play, U.C. Albinoleffe 's Félix Evar got a free kick in the 24th minute. U.C. Albinoleffe 's Jelle Dierickx was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Alessio Curti made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by U.C. Albinoleffe 's Alvise Reali. Concetto Di Falco charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Concetto Di Falco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Concetto Di Falco kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Seth Messenger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eraldo Larizza in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eraldo Larizza to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Mira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Di Falco came free, but Cesare Tagliente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Raffa charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Raffa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ernesto Raffa hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 54 minutes of play U.C. Albinoleffe 's Concetto Di Falco was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 55th minute, Concetto Di Falco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mira FC's zone, Sebastian Västlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesare Tagliente came out of the goal and Sebastian Västlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Raffa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Seth Messenger made a huge save. Sebastian Västlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jelle Dierickx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jelle Dierickx struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Cesare Tagliente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U.C. Albinoleffe . Armando Di Silvio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, U.C. Albinoleffe 's Seth Messenger got control of the ball when Ernesto Raffa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabiano Caneva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seth Messenger having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the U.C. Albinoleffe players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
