The AS Bravetta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alfonso Di Rado made in the 9th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Reggina Calcio's Alvise Vanni. Reggina Calcio's Ercole Serantoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Guaita in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Attilio Lenci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reggina Calcio's supporters rose to their feet, but Attilio Lenci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio De Simone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barnaba Naskrent during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of AS Bravetta booed when Reggina Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Naskrent didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Alfonso Di Rado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Serantoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match AS Bravetta got a corner. Reggina Calcio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dave Guaita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led AS Bravetta's Dave Guaita to fire away a dangerous shot which Ercole Serantoni despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Dave Guaita came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the AS Bravetta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dave Guaita couldn't finish the play. After 28 minutes of play, AS Bravetta's Frank Mandara made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ercole Serantoni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ercole Serantoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Di Rado in the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Frank Mandara managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Bravetta's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Mandara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ercole Serantoni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute, Barnaba Naskrent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ercole Serantoni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dave Guaita's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Daniele Aversano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio De Simone having to interfere. The Reggina Calcio players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AS Bravetta were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dave Guaita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to AS Bravetta getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Alberigo Anzolin hit a great ball. Alfonso Di Rado charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Di Rado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ercole Serantoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Di Rado, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 56th minute Alberigo Anzolin suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 56 minutes of play Reggina Calcio's Barnaba Naskrent was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. AS Bravetta made a substitution. Aurelio Mariano replaced Alberigo Anzolin. The supporters of AS Bravetta booed when Reggina Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Naskrent didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute Dave Guaita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Serantoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Dave Guaita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ercole Serantoni. That made the score 0-7 in the 80 minute of play. Reggina Calcio's Ercole Serantoni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Reggina Calcio from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Di Rado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Di Rado in the 87th minute of play forced Reggina Calcio's goalkeeper Ercole Serantoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Reggina Calcio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dave Guaita was slow to take the kick. During this time AS Bravetta's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to AS Bravetta's Felice Valcareggi getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Dave Guaita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ercole Serantoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Mariano in the 96th minute of play. AS Bravetta played a much better game than Reggina Calcio and deserved their victory. The Reggina Calcio players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
