In the 11thth minute of the game Vadim Tudor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Aquino's Diego Kimetz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th match minute, Real Aquino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenico Santarelli to maneuver through the defense. Diego Kimetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Di Tullio in the 16th minute of the match. Fortunato Di Tullio scored 0-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Kimetz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Real Aquino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Kimetz should have stopped the shot. Fortunato Di Tullio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Kimetz having to interfere. Comunardo Pascali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Parente in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fortunato Di Tullio in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Kimetz saved Real Aquino from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Vadim Tudor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Kimetz. Real Aquino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vadim Tudor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After some careless play in the Real Aquino defense, Fortunato Di Tullio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Kimetz. The Real Aquino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Kimetz should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fortunato Di Tullio in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Kimetz saved Real Aquino from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vadim Tudor was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Real Aquino's goal looked a bit too open when Vadim Tudor came free, but Diego Kimetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vadim Tudor got free with Diego Kimetz in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruno Sammartino kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Diego Kimetz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Vadim Tudor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Kimetz was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. The supporters of Onychogomphus FC booed when Real Aquino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Simeoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Onychogomphus FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
