Alessio Iezzi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Bruno Zollino 24 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerhard Martin Geldreich in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Campoli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Campoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Caniglia in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alessio Iezzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, FC Rhodense's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Iezzi came free, but Bruno Zollino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucia's Bruno Campoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerhard Martin Geldreich in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of A.c. Lucia booed when FC Rhodense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercole Salvadore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerhard Martin Geldreich did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Bruno Campoli 90 minutes into the match. In the 96thth minute of the game Gerhard Martin Geldreich who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.c. Lucia's Bruno Campoli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
