Kaká Favoretto had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Florian Di Cesare's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Vernon McCall kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Isac Barbosu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Quirce in the 16th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, A.S.D. Marzabotto's Isac Barbosu threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aurelio Quirce, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 21 minutes into the match, AClabio's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Quirce came free, but Isac Barbosu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aurelio Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. Aurelio Quirce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurelio Quirce to make the kick off. AClabio's Isac Barbosu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vernon McCall in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th minute A.S.D. Marzabotto were awarded a corner. Angelo Lupi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led A.S.D. Marzabotto's Bernie Odell to fire away a dangerous shot which Isac Barbosu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind AClabio's goalkeeper Isac Barbosu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st match minute, AClabio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ikin Bangun to maneuver through the defense. After 65 played minutes A.S.D. Marzabotto got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Quirce. Kaká Favoretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damiano Capone in the 68th minute of play. Bernie Odell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AClabio's Antonio Volta was substituted for Aristides Roldanillo. In the 79th minute Aurelio Quirce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Barbosu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isac Barbosu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Quirce in the 87th minute of play. Kaká Favoretto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Volta in the 88th minute. 93 minutes into the match, A.S.D. Marzabotto's goalkeeper Kaká Favoretto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Volta. 93 minutes into the game, Antonio Volta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kaká Favoretto. Antonio Volta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AClabio walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
