With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabiano Del Prete in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciccio De Rubeis saved Lucky Number Team from getting behind. Elia Fabrizi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Frank Heinrich made a huge save. Ciccio De Rubeis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Pittelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciccio De Rubeis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Pittelli in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Enzo Pittelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ciccio De Rubeis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, Fabiano Del Prete notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Lucky Number Team's Ciccio De Rubeis. Ciccio De Rubeis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Armin Scacchi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Mézes Mackó's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Scacchi came free, but Frank Heinrich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mézes Mackó's Frank Heinrich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Scacchi in the 41st minute of play. Enzo Pittelli took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciccio De Rubeis. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armin Scacchi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Fabiano Del Prete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciccio De Rubeis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Armin Scacchi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank Heinrich was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Attilio Orlandi replaced Elia Fabrizi. After a defensive mix-up in Lucky Number Team's zone, Fabiano Del Prete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciccio De Rubeis came out of the goal and Fabiano Del Prete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Heinrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Orlandi in the 82nd minute of play. Ciccio De Rubeis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Pittelli in the 84th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuele Di Piazza in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Heinrich prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mézes Mackó made a substitution. Beppe Mameli replaced Dennis Malandra. 95 minutes into the match, Mézes Mackó's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Orlandi came free, but Frank Heinrich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 played minutes Lucky Number Team got a freekick which was hit by Armin Pari. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
