But to his dismay, Amerigo Pugliese quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Cosimo Rossetti kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Amerigo Pugliese came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the ternana calcio fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amerigo Pugliese couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the game, Ennio Bosso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Andrea Mauro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrea Mauro came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by ternana calcio fc's Alvaro Punta. But to his dismay, Alvaro Punta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After the first half ternana calcio fc were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the game, Ercole Di Nucci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rossoneri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ternana calcio fc the free kick. The supporters of ternana calcio fc booed when Rossoneri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercole Di Nucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Ennio Bosso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andrea Mauro. The goal made the score 1-7. Amerigo Pugliese sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ennio Bosso in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrea Mauro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of ternana calcio fc booed when Rossoneri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercole Di Nucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. A well placed Ennio Bosso short distance shot in the 76th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 81st minute, Rossoneri's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amerigo Pugliese fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rossoneri's Andrea Mauro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Rossoneri from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Pasquino in the 85th minute of play forced Rossoneri's goalkeeper Andrea Mauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anfilogino Pasquino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ternana calcio fc's Amerigo Pugliese got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Rossoneri fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ternana calcio fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
