In the 20th minute, Ennio Bosso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amerigo Pugliese might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Concetto Liberati. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amerigo Pugliese ran back to his position shaking his head. Aureliusz Podolski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberigo Marchetti in the 27th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Ennio Bosso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Axa's Concetto Liberati was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberigo Marchetti in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliusz Podolski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the game, Alberigo Marchetti recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aureliusz Podolski. Alberigo Marchetti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Alberigo Marchetti kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberigo Marchetti to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Andrea De Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Alvaro Punta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ternana calcio fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. Anfilogino Pasquino struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Concetto Liberati didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ternana calcio fc. 94 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Pasquino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Concetto Liberati. Anfilogino Pasquino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. When the final whistle sounded ternana calcio fc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Axa.
