A nice corner shot did that Edmondo Castelli got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cesare Vida quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 40 minutes, Cesare Matteucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gom Gom FC and the Coccodrilli Brilli players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gom Gom FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Cesare Matteucci hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Frank Moscatelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gom Gom FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Moscatelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Cesarini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gom Gom FC's Cesare Vida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Castelli in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for J.J Batshuayi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, J.J Batshuayi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesare Vida was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ettore Gabriele kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Edmondo Castelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesare Vida having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Coccodrilli Brilli's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Moscatelli came free, but Anselmo Cesarini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. J.J Batshuayi kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Ferruccio Damiani fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gom Gom FC's protests and gave Ferruccio Damiani a yellow card for diving instead.
