Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alvaro Piola took the kick off in the first half of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Sansoni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andrea Amadei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Cristoforo Epifani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Aurelio Santoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gom Gom FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Giorgio the free kick. A collision led to Gom Gom FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Aurelio Santoro hit a great ball. Gom Gom FC's Cristoforo Epifani got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edoardo Martini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Sansoni having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Gom Gom FC's Cosimo Festuccia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Sansoni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 25th minute, Elia Volta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, San Giorgio's goal looked a bit too open when Cristoforo Epifani came free, but Ernesto Sansoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Sansoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Festuccia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edoardo Martini struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ernesto Sansoni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gom Gom FC. 32 minutes into the game, Ciro Masetti recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cesare Vida. Ciro Masetti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 35 minutes into the game, Gom Gom FC's Cristoforo Epifani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elia Volta charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elia Volta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Cristoforo Epifani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gom Gom FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristoforo Epifani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Sansoni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The San Giorgio players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gom Gom FC were winning 1-3.

Ernesto Sansoni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Ernesto Sansoni made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Cristoforo Epifani sent off a good shot on target. Cristoforo Epifani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ernesto Sansoni made a huge save. 75 minutes into the game, Cristoforo Epifani lined in a short shot 1-6 behind a frustrated Ernesto Sansoni. Cosimo Festuccia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Sansoni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristoforo Epifani in the 82nd minute. Cosimo Festuccia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ernesto Sansoni was out of position in the 99 minute of play, and Cristoforo Epifani capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristoforo Epifani really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. Gom Gom FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
