But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ennio Bosso couldn't finish the play. Ennio Bosso might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frank Trinca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ennio Bosso ran back to his position shaking his head. Frank Trinca came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by ternana calcio fc's Amerigo Pugliese. But to his dismay, Amerigo Pugliese quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 18th minute, Ennio Bosso made a precise shot to the right of Frank Trinca. Winning Eleven's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 21st minute, Ennio Bosso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank Trinca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ennio Bosso in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Trinca saved Winning Eleven from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Ermanno Panella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Winning Eleven's zone, Ennio Bosso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Trinca came out of the goal and Ennio Bosso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ennio Bosso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amerigo Pugliese might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frank Trinca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amerigo Pugliese ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Winning Eleven defense, Alvaro Cara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frank Trinca. The Winning Eleven fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Trinca should have stopped the shot. Frank Trinca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amerigo Pugliese went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ettore Della Francesca to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, ternana calcio fc's Ennio Bosso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frank Trinca. Frank Trinca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Amerigo Pugliese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Trinca having to interfere. Alvaro Punta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Frank Trinca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ternana calcio fc getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Carlo Filice hit a great ball. Amerigo Pugliese took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frank Trinca. Frank Trinca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. After 68 played minutes ternana calcio fc's Amerigo Pugliese stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Frank Trinca stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Winning Eleven of the goal. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Ennio Bosso put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Frank Trinca. The supporters of ternana calcio fc booed when Winning Eleven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position.
