Alessandro Di Gaetano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teo Calvet to make the kick off. Feliks Pilsudski kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Amerigo Pugliese took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alessandro Di Gaetano. Alessandro Di Gaetano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. In the 60th minute, Alvaro Punta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Alessandro Di Gaetano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Pugliese in the 92nd minute of play. Arrigo Iacovone kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
