In the 8th minute Frank Moscatelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Cesarini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Moscatelli took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Cesarini. Anselmo Cesarini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Frank Moscatelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Anselmo Cesarini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Moscatelli scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anselmo Cesarini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frank Moscatelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Biagio Palmisano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Cesarini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Moscatelli in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Coccodrilli Brilli's Flavio Di Prinzio got a free kick in the 35th minute. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Frank Moscatelli put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Anselmo Cesarini. Edoardo Martini scored 0-4 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anselmo Cesarini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Frank Moscatelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anselmo Cesarini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Moscatelli in the 43rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Gom Gom FC's Cesare Vida got control of the ball when Edmondo Castelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Frank Moscatelli made the kick off in the second half. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Coccodrilli Brilli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by J.J Batshuayi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Moscatelli in the 97th minute of play forced Coccodrilli Brilli's goalkeeper Anselmo Cesarini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Gom Gom FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gom Gom FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
