In the 10th minute, Cosimo Festuccia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gom Gom FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. PULCINI's Alessandro Di Gaetano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Moscatelli in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, PULCINI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Solis to maneuver through the defense. Alessandro Di Gaetano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Festuccia in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Moscatelli in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alessandro Di Gaetano saved PULCINI from getting behind. Alessandro Di Gaetano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Moscatelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Edoardo Martini came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Gom Gom FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Martini couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, Feliks Pilsudski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciccio Crispino kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PULCINI's zone, Cesare Matteucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Di Gaetano came out of the goal and Cesare Matteucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alessandro Di Gaetano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Festuccia in the 36th minute of the match. When Alonso Solis fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PULCINI's protests and gave Alonso Solis a yellow card for diving instead. Frank Moscatelli kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Alessandro Di Gaetano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Moscatelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Attilio Scutti charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After recieving a nice pass, Gom Gom FC's Cristiano Alessandrini tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Frank Moscatelli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alessandro Di Gaetano came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Moscatelli slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 89th minute. In the 94th minute Teo Calvet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Vida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristoforo Epifani kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alessandro Di Gaetano. That made the score 0-7 in the 96 minute of play. Gom Gom FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
