Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alvaro Piola kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Cara in the 23rd minute of play forced San Giorgio's goalkeeper Ernesto Sansoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, San Giorgio's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Pugliese came free, but Ernesto Sansoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Ennio Bosso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto Sansoni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amerigo Pugliese to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, ternana calcio fc's Ennio Bosso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernesto Sansoni. Ernesto Sansoni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. 61 minutes into the game, ternana calcio fc's Amerigo Pugliese nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Sansoni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. If Amerigo Pugliese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 67 minutes of play, ternana calcio fc's Amerigo Pugliese made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Sansoni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ennio Bosso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Sansoni having to interfere. Ernesto Sansoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Bosso in the 73rd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Ennio Bosso notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of San Giorgio's Ernesto Sansoni. Ernesto Sansoni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 0-9 became the score in the 78th minute when Amerigo Pugliese elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Anfilogino Pasquino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto Sansoni having to make a save. Biagio Villa took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Biagio Villa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ernesto Sansoni quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of ternana calcio fc booed when San Giorgio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Piola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amerigo Pugliese came free with the goalkeeper in the 98th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ernesto Sansoni could save by the left post. When the match was over ternana calcio fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than San Giorgio throughout the match.
