Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anthony Terrasi started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Winning Eleven's goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Tofani came free, but Diego Aloisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Antonello Tofani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eurospeed Asti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Winning Eleven the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Eurospeed Asti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonello Tofani to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Iacovacci in the 10th minute of play forced Winning Eleven's goalkeeper Diego Aloisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Winning Eleven's goalkeeper Diego Aloisi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Winning Eleven's Filippo Carozza got a free kick in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Fabrizio Iacovacci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eurospeed Asti's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrizio Iacovacci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Aloisi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Stanciu in the 24th minute of play forced Winning Eleven's goalkeeper Diego Aloisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eurospeed Asti's Fabrizio Iacovacci in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Winning Eleven's goalie prevented a goal. Fabrizio Iacovacci was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Eurospeed Asti's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Diego Aloisi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Davide Ubriaco's late challenge caught a Winning Eleven's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Davide Ubriaco helped the player get up and apologised. Diego Aloisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Henning, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 44 minutes of play, Eurospeed Asti's Fabrizio Iacovacci made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Aloisi was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabrizio Iacovacci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diego Aloisi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Henning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Aloisi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Tofani in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Winning Eleven's goalkeeper Diego Aloisi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Eurospeed Asti's corner Fabrizio Iacovacci fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Diego Aloisi quite easily take care of the ball. When Eurospeed Asti's Fabrizio Iacovacci in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Winning Eleven's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabrizio Iacovacci in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Aloisi saved Winning Eleven from getting behind. After 69 minutes Winning Eleven's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabrizio Iacovacci who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Eurospeed Asti's Fabrizio Iacovacci to fire away a dangerous shot which Diego Aloisi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Eurospeed Asti's Mugurel Stanciu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Aloisi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Eurospeed Asti booed when Winning Eleven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Trinca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Aloisi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Iacovacci in the 78th minute of play. When Eurospeed Asti's Fabrizio Iacovacci in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Winning Eleven's goalie prevented a goal. Ferruccio Palermo charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferruccio Palermo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Antonello Tofani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Winning Eleven's Filippo Chitarroni got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Mugurel Stanciu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Fabrizio Iacovacci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Aloisi. Winning Eleven's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabrizio Iacovacci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Eurospeed Asti had won after a very even match.
