The Winning Eleven fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Winning Eleven's Enrico Colella looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alvaro Piola hit a great ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Enrico Colella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winning Eleven's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrico Colella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvaro Piola charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Piola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alvaro Piola kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Piola was the one to do the kick off. Diego Aloisi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Morini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessio Cancemi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernesto Sansoni came out and tried to block the shot, but Alessio Cancemi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 56th minute. Enrico Colella struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Ernesto Sansoni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winning Eleven. 62 minutes into the match, San Giorgio's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Colella came free, but Ernesto Sansoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Sansoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Colella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Piola hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Diego Aloisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Morini, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Ernesto Sansoni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessio Cancemi went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute, Alessio Cancemi made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Sansoni. San Giorgio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Ernesto Sansoni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Trinca went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Winning Eleven played a much better game than San Giorgio and deserved their victory. The San Giorgio players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
