Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ennio Costa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hernan Gervaso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Greco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Flavio Greco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Gervaso in the 6th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Petre Baniciu suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. When Angelo Ciraci fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avengers FC's protests and gave Angelo Ciraci a yellow card for diving instead. Browns made a substitution. Alex Di Sante replaced Petre Baniciu. In the 15th match minute, Avengers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Ciraci to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Hernan Gervaso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Greco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Angelo Ciraci was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 16 minutes had been played. After 17 played minutes Avengers FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Ciraci. After some careless play in the Avengers FC defense, Attilio Vieri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Greco. The Avengers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Greco should have stopped the shot. Avengers FC's Flavio Greco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Vieri in the 25th minute of play. Flavio Greco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Gervaso, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, Hernan Gervaso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Greco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Avengers FC's Flavio Greco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Vieri in the 37th minute of play. Hernan Gervaso took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Greco. Flavio Greco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Turo Leppilampi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Hernan Gervaso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Greco. Avengers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hernan Gervaso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Flavio Greco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Vieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Browns's Attilio Vieri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flavio Greco. That made the score 0-6 after 53 minutes of play. Alexander Gaeta hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Avengers FC's Ennio Costa got a free kick in the 59th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Turo Leppilampi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Browns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Turo Leppilampi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Browns's Turo Leppilampi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Greco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Carter Fava's late challenge caught a Browns's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carter Fava helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Carter Fava hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Avengers FC's Flavio Greco got control of the ball when Attilio Vieri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Avengers FC's Flavio Greco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Avengers FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Browns's Hernan Gervaso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flavio Greco. That made the score 0-8 after 78 minutes of play. If Attilio Vieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernan Gervaso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avengers FC's Flavio Greco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Avengers FC from getting a goal against them. Flavio Greco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Vieri in the 89th minute of play. When the match was over Browns could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Avengers FC throughout the match.
