After a defensive mix-up in GP2 Red Fields's zone, Hernan Gervaso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Padula came out of the goal and Hernan Gervaso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Biagio Padula stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Attilio Vieri's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Biagio Padula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Vieri in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Browns's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Di Domenico came free, but Demetrio Scafati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Amedeo Salemme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Scafati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernan Gervaso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Biagio Padula made a huge save. With a little luck, GP2 Red Fields's Biagio Padula got control of the ball when Hernan Gervaso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petre Baniciu might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Biagio Padula. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petre Baniciu ran back to his position shaking his head. Biagio Padula stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Turo Leppilampi's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. GP2 Red Fields's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Turo Leppilampi scored to the left of an out of position Biagio Padula, making the score, 4-1. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Attilio Vieri took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Biagio Padula to make any attempt to save it. Biagio Padula made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hernan Gervaso in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cesare Di Domenico made the kick off in the second half. The Browns fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Browns's Hernan Gervaso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 59th minute, Attilio Vieri made a precise shot to the right of Biagio Padula. GP2 Red Fields's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. GP2 Red Fields's Biagio Padula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Gervaso in the 63rd minute of play. Biagio Padula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Gaeta in the 64th minute of the match. Attilio Vieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Biagio Padula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Browns's Eraldo Santone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Biagio Padula narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Biagio Padula came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Browns's Hernan Gervaso. But to his dismay, Hernan Gervaso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. In the 72nd minute, Turo Leppilampi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Biagio Padula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Gervaso, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Attilio Vieri came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Browns fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Attilio Vieri couldn't finish the play. Hernan Gervaso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hernan Gervaso came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Browns fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Gervaso couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Attilio Vieri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Browns's supporters rose to their feet, but Attilio Vieri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Biagio Padula breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Dario Tozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Hernan Gervaso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Biagio Padula. GP2 Red Fields's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hernan Gervaso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Vieri in the 93rd minute of play forced GP2 Red Fields's goalkeeper Biagio Padula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11-1 became the score in the 94th minute when Hernan Gervaso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. There was no doubt that Browns were the better team. Browns's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
