Redevil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Redevil's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Redevil's Daniele Belfiore was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elia Di Ianni in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Fabiano Castelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colon Marrero in the 33rd minute of play forced Rock's goalkeeper Elia Di Ianni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Redevil's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Castelli came free, but Ennio Granato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elia Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Elia Di Ianni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Redevil's Colon Marrero in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rock's goalie prevented a goal. After 45 played minutes Redevil got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Romanese. After the first half Rock were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Elia Di Ianni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colon Marrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Rock's goal looked a bit too open when Colon Marrero came free, but Elia Di Ianni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Simonetti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ennio Granato made a huge save. In the 65th minute, Rock's Christian Vani ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ennio Granato. Ennio Granato yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 70 minutes into the match, Redevil's goalkeeper Ennio Granato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Simonetti. Achille Grieco charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Achille Grieco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Achille Grieco hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Filippo De Angelis sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Ennio Granato threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Filippo De Angelis this time. Elia Di Ianni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colon Marrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Vani scored 0-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ennio Granato, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, Augusto Masi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rock had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
