The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Felice Della Torre recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armando Pallini. Felice Della Torre showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Armando Pallini came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Perla Ionica's Bernardo Barchiesi. But to his dismay, Bernardo Barchiesi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Armando Pallini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Barchiesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perla Ionica's Fabrizio Miccoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio De Cesaris in the 16th minute of play. If Felice Della Torre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernardo Barchiesi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Pallini having to interfere. Fabrizio Miccoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio De Cesaris in the 23rd minute of the match. Armando Pallini was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Cesare Sciamanna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cesare Sciamanna really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. If Felice Della Torre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Pallini stood somewhat misplaced when Felice Della Torre came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 33 minute. Fausto Ascani hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Bernardo Barchiesi took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Armando Pallini to make any attempt to save it. Bernardo Barchiesi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Armando Pallini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Armando Pallini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardo Barchiesi went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After 60 played minutes TAYLOR got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Ascani. Armando Pallini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felice Della Torre in the 87th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Felice Della Torre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Pallini was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Armando Pallini came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Perla Ionica's Bernardo Barchiesi. But to his dismay, Bernardo Barchiesi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. When the referee ended the match the Perla Ionica players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
