Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rein Visscher to make the kick off. Rein Visscher came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruno Mazza could save by the left post. In the 66th minute of the match Fighting Burning Hearts got a corner. U.P. Gavellese's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Demetrio Giacchetti ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Filippo Tassotti got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bruno Mazza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bruno Mazza made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Rein Visscher sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Rein Visscher put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Mazza. Bruno Mazza made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Eraldo Bozzo sent off a good shot on target. The Fighting Burning Hearts supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fighting Burning Hearts would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
