With a little luck, Polisportiva Arcorese's Dave Trotta got control of the ball when Claudio Pan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Cirigliano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Trotta having to interfere. Alfredo Lucantoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Simonetti in the 28th minute of play. Dave Trotta didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Felice Tieri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Cirigliano in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dave Trotta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Red Sox's Alfredo Lucantoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Strazzabosco in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Cirigliano in the 42nd minute of play forced Polisportiva Arcorese's goalkeeper Dave Trotta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
