In the 20th minute, Concetto Di Iulio made a precise shot to the right of Johan Jönsson. Red Sox's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Johan Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ragnar Vennegoor, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Campania Athletic Club's Cane Di Dio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonello Zulli in the 52nd minute of play. Cane Di Dio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Cirigliano in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Claudio Pan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cane Di Dio was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. If Fortunato Pierdomenico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Antonello Zulli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Alex Cirigliano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rdth minute of the game Concetto Di Iulio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Sox's Johan Jönsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alex Cirigliano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cane Di Dio having to make a save. Claudio Pan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Red Sox's Francesco Festuccia was substituted for Cristoforo Atroce. Red Sox made a substitution. Felice Rocco replaced Anthony Sampo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Fanfarone in the 86th minute of play forced Campania Athletic Club's goalkeeper Cane Di Dio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cane Di Dio came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Sox's Fabio Fanfarone. But to his dismay, Fabio Fanfarone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 90 minutes of play, Campania Athletic Club's Concetto Di Iulio made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johan Jönsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johan Jönsson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-4.
